It allows determining the orientation and angular movements of an object in space. These sensors are used in many applications, ranging from smartphones to ship stabilization systems. The GYR38 is a gyroscopic borehole deviation probe specifically designed for the demanding environments of drilling and mining operations. This north-seeking device (for probe inclination values between 3° and 177° from vertical) accurately provides continuous trajectory data in non-vertical boreholes. A north search time of only 2 minutes and a 60-minute measurement time between corrections help maximize operational efficiency.
